NSW: Bikie had loaded pistol down pants when arrested court told

A Hell's Angels bikie's back in court today .. after being arrested in a dramatic daytime
operation last week.

Police say 38-year-old CHRISTIAN BIRCH had a loaded pistol down the front of his pants
when he was pinned to the ground .. after he was pulled over on his Harley Davidson motorbike
on Friday.

The union official .. and alleged outlaw motorcycle member .. who also works as a labourer
.. was allegedly found with a fully loaded .45 calibre black semi-automatic pistol down
his pants.

Police say he was wearing full Hell's Angels club colours when officers from Strike
Force Raptor pulled him over in Alexandria.

They say BIRCH is disqualified from driving until 2012 .. and his bike exceeded his
learner's restrictions.

After raids on houses in Darlinghurst and Alexandria .. BIRCH has been charged with
firearm and driving offences.

He'll appear in Sydney's Central Local Court today.
