Greer Garson endows chair at Univ. of Texas med school

Actress Greer Garson has endowed a professorship at theUniversity of Texas Southwestern Medical School with a $1.5 milliongift.

The donation, announced by the school Wednesday, honored Dr.Paul C. Peters, chairman of the division of urology, who cared forGarson's husband, E. E. "Buddy" Fogelson, who died last Decemberafter a long illness.
