Qld: Prostitute who allegedly robbed cop client in court
BRISBANE, Aug 27 AAP - A prostitute appeared in court today over allegations she robbedan undercover detective while he was her client.
Michelle Lynette Grainger, 20, unemployed, of Fortitude Valley, is facing one chargeeach of soliciting, stealing and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
It was alleged in the Brisbane Magistrates Court Grainger took a large sum of cashbelonging to the police service as well as the unmarked police car the officer was drivingwhile he was asleep in a motel room they had hired at Buranda, in Brisbane's inner southernsuburbs.
The officer has been stood down pending an investigation of impropriety on his part.
Magistrate Noel Nunan remanded Grainger on her own undertaking to reappear for furthermention next month.
